For the last few weeks I've been given access to a whole new world. A world of investment, money talks and 100 female founders.

The No.1 thing I’ve learned so far is that yes - as female entrepreneurs we have less access to the money flowing around the economy (for a multitude of reasons that don’t need explaining). But the one thing we can control is that we need to actually ask for it.
Following the eye-opening-ly brilliant FFinc kick off event hosted by Tamara Gillan featuring some mind-bending stats from Sam Cooper-Gray, I've now also completed a couple of masterclasses. One from Karen Rudich of sherloc and, just yesterday, Ingrid Murray gave us access to JamHUT - which has already kicked up some incredibly useful market insights and true food for thought.
Being part of this cohort has energised me at a much needed time. It's often lonely being a founder, so this injection of ideas, courage, and a few uncomfortable but necessary truths, is just the medicine.
This journey is already changing the way I think about growth - creatively and strategically. I need to turn some of my own "dare to be different" advice on myself and pitch not just for the campaigns we run, but for the capital I need to grow our business.
